General Summary

The Marketing & Media Relations Work Study will support the department in various marketing and media-related tasks. This position provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in marketing strategies, content creation, and media outreach while developing valuable skills in a professional setting.

Specific Position Duties

• Assist in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and digital content.
• Help maintain and update the department's social media platforms and website.
• Support the planning and execution of promotional events and campaigns.
• Assist in drafting press releases, articles, and other written content for media outreach.
• Collaborate with team members on brainstorming sessions and marketing strategy development.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and scheduling meetings.

• Current student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours and eligible for Work Study.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
