Position: Safety Administrator Principal Duties & Responsibilities: This is an office or remote based position. Candidate will be expected to be available for up to 32 hours a week either remotely or at the Regional office located at 12308B Hwy 80E Odessa, Texas 79765. Most of the work will be for a significant oil and gas project. This portion of the project is expected to last 2-3 years. Other duties may include safety administrative duties and activities related to our lodge operations. The Safety Administrator works for the Safety Division to assist with monitoring subcontractor work for conformance to Client and GC HSE standards. The Safety Administrator will report findings to (direct report) corporate safety director. The Safety Administrator will: * Complete document reviews, audit documentation, and perform document management;
* Conduct data entry duties which may include but are not limited to ISNetworld updates, OSHA reporting updates, BasicSafe updates, and other internal data platform updates;
* Assist the corporate safety director with writing and updating and researching new and existing HSSE (health, safety, security, environmental) policies and procedures;
* Attend all necessary safety meetings which may include but are not limited to weekly scheduled safety meetings, insurance safety meetings, other industry related safety meeting in the absence of the corporate safety director;
* Assist in reviewing and Analyzing loss runs and incident reports and recommend improvements for safe work practices, policies and training programs.
* Under the direction of the corporate safety director you will administer the online training program
* Complete all other tasks and activities within the realm of the HSE practice within the scope of the project and site work. The ideal candidate will possess or hold a combination of: * Two to three years of administrative experience OR; * Two to three years of construction experience (civil or pipeline) OR; * A degree or certification from a higher education institution. AND * Must possess a valid driver's license
* Must be able to pass a drug test. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities * Self-motivated, adaptable

* Expert computer proficiency (i.e. Microsoft Office, Outlook, internet searches, etc.)
* Well organized, attentive to detail, flexible, adaptable, efficient, able to prioritize multiple taskings;
* Effectively work with others to build consensus.
* Understanding of construction processes.
