Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead and supervise accounting department operations including AP, AR, and staff accountants
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP
- Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting
- Manage intercompany accounting for multi-entity structures
- Oversee capital lease, fixed asset, and depreciation schedules
- Coordinate external audit preparation and communication
- Maintain and ensure compliance with tax regulations and GAAP
- Drive ERP system improvement and accounting process development
- Serve as financial advisor to plant and district leadership
- Manage internal controls and ensure financial data integrity
- Act as primary liaison with banks, insurance providers, and auditors
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in senior accounting roles
- Experience in multi-entity GAAP accounting and audit preparation
- Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Background with ERP systems and accounting software
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership capability
- Valid driver's license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
