To ensure proper and safe distribution and administration of patient medications, including promoting rational drug selection, monitoring administration of medication and responsibility for the patient's overall drug therapy.

I. Qualifications:

In the process of obtaining a Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.).

B. Job Knowledge:

Keep current with latest developments in hospital pharmacy through professional organizations such as American Society of Hospital Pharmacists. Know good management techniques and know hospital and department policies and procedures.
