The Stocker first and foremost is responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. He/ She performs shelf stocking and back-room duties. Tasks may also include spill cleanup, general housekeeping and other duties as assigned by management. When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest. Follows daily work schedule as assigned by management. Performs stocking duties including; lifting, stocking product, rotating product, blocking, facing, dusting, and ordering. Performs general housekeeping duties on sales floor and backroom areas. Must be attentive at all times to needs of guests and be ready and able to direct/take guest to items in question. May be called upon to act as front end help, such as checking and/or sacking.
