The BOP Supervisor is responsible for assisting with overseeing day-to-day operations in both the shop and field, ensuring the maintenance and performance of primary well control equipment, power tongs, torque, and test equipment. This role requires hands-on experience with oil and gas equipment maintenance, service, and inventory control. Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to the Midland/Odessa, TX area.

- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday. However, due to the nature of the business, evening and weekend hours may be necessary on occasion.

Key Responsibilities: - Oversee shop and field operations, ensuring the proper maintenance and functionality of well control equipment, power swivels, power tongs, and related tools.
- Coordinate and manage equipment repairs, inspections, and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with company and industry safety standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to shop and field personnel.
Qualifications & Requirements: - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the repair, maintenance, and servicing of well control equipment, power swivels, and power tongs, including inventory management and control.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to oversee daily operations effectively.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and meet minimum driving requirements for insurance purposes.
- Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to Midland/Odessa, TX.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
Duties: - Ensure all work is performed in strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Oversee and direct personnel conducting preventative maintenance and testing of primary well control equipment.
- Enforce compliance with all shop policies and procedures within the quality management system.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior employees to support their development within the competency system.
- Regularly review the work order/maintenance system to confirm all tasks are scheduled, materials are procured, and necessary maintenance-both internal and external-is planned and completed.
- Collaborate with business development teams to ensure assets are properly allocated for upcoming jobs.
- Support the manager and service writer in maintaining accurate asset traceability on the DWS whiteboard and electronic maintenance system.
- Assist managers in enhancing documentation and refining standards within the preventative maintenance program.
- Organize, file, and maintain test records and certifications for all equipment.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of critical spare parts and consumables to ensure availability.
- Coordinate with DWS dispatch to optimize trucking logistics.
- Perform additional projects and tasks as assigned by management.
